Keepin' it REAL

Students at LCIS are learning techniques for creating Realistic art!
 Check out what they have created.


6th graders have been creating Realistic self-portraits.










5th graders have been learning about creating depth in their artwork with foreground, mid-ground and background.





4th graders studied local sub-alpine animal species in their science/social studies class.  In art, they created a scientific drawing of the species they choose to study.







Also, be sure to check out the 3rd grade artwork inspired by Vincent Van Gogh.  The art is currently on display at our local post office!

West Park Elementary students are exploring new concepts, using new materials! 


2nd grade students used pastels to make landscapes using warm and cool colors!









1st graders used organic and geometric shapes to create robots using pastels!
