Color! Collaboration! Clay!

As we embark on another exciting year of creativity, art students in grades k - 8 are working on their color theory skills!
Kindergarten though 2nd graders worked on some very colorful self portraits!
Color makes smiles!
Mrs. Anderson's 2nd grade students are slightly more adorable than Ms. Farrow's High Schoolers.

Lake County's awesome art teachers each want a pair of these gloves! Hint, hint....

7th and 8th grade students learned about cubism and shading.
Miss Good's 6th graders are working on mountain scapes using warm and cool colors!  These are their rough drafts.

LCIS students have been busy working together to create art! In the project below, Miss Good's students painted a space on each piece of small paper and then passed them around until all the spaces were filled. The results are amazing!

And at the High School Ms. Farrow is desperately trying to make sure her students don't have TOO much fun...

What is better than clay and sunshine?!

Mrs. Anderson, Miss Good and Ms. Farrow are so excited for another year of creative creations!
